The Catholme Neolithic Complex

Thanks to Gareth Roberts for bringing this amazing location to our attention. Near Catholme lies the remains of a wooden neolithic 'complex' consiting of 195 tall wooden posts.

It was first discovered in the 1960s and a dig was carried out in the early 2000s.
